Check the Alumni Association site for full details and availability, as we are in the process of setting this up now. Make your plans now to attend the following evens during Morehouse College 2013 Homecoming! Friday, October 25 Homecoming Golf Tournament – Canongate 1, Sharpsburg, GA 30277 We have stepped up this year’s golf tournament ! We will be working with Tigers on the Green to manage this year’s tournament and it will be held at a Canongate Course. Tee-off time will be 10:00 am and will be a shotgun start. The cost will be $125.00 as last year. Time : 9:00 - 4:00 pm Cost : $125.00 Morehouse Alumni Action Summit and Luncheon – The Shirley Massey Conference Center Meet with your association’s local and national leadership and weigh in our current issues facing our College. We use this event to brainstorm ideas and develop our platform for collaboration with the College. This event builds on the inaugural summit started in May 2013. Time : 11:00 - 2:00 pm Cost : $20.00 Saturday October 26 Homecoming Parade Viewing Breakfast - CollegeTown at West End* Come join us as we watch the parade and prepare for our jazz New Orleans Jazz Brunch. Enjoy a light continental breakfast and watch the parade. Time : 9:00 - 10:30 am No cost to attend New Orleans Jazz Brunch- College Town at West End, across from the Ray Charles PAC Our most popular homecoming event for alumni. Come and enjoy great food and great music in a relaxed environment. This year we will have a silent auction featuring one of a kind celebrity items. We will also have Savannah Artist Maya Smith on hand for custom portraits. So bring your wallets, there will certainly be something that you want to purchase. Time : 9:00 - 10:30 am Cost : Alumni Sponsorship $150.00 / $40.00 individual ticket Morehouse Alumni Experience Homecoming Tailgate-Tailgate area Come out and join the party as the Association along with the Atlanta Chapter sponsors a one of a kind alumni experience. Not for the faint of heart, this event is for the serious tailgaters and party goers. Join us this year as we create the biggest alumni tailgate tent ever. We will have food, drink, beverage sponsors, chair massages, dance floors,DJ’s, flat screens, playstation tournaments, and anything else we can fit under the largest Morehouse College Alumni Tailgate Tent ever. This will be a time to remember. Time : 10:00 - until Cost : Alumni Sponsorship $50.00 / $10.00 individual ticket Morehouse Maroon Tigers vs. Benedict College – B.T. Harvey Stadium Come out and cheer own our Maroon Tigers. The Return of the Soiree 2013 - Commerce Club, 191 Peachtree 49th Floor Come and enjoy the most innovative event to date. Reminiscent of the grand soirees of prior years, we will take over the entire 49th floor of the prestigious 191 building in Atlanta. There will be two ballrooms spinning all genres of R and B and Hip Hop, a jazz suite, poker, and opportunities to network with your brothers. Time : 10:00 – 2:00pm Cost : Corporate Sponsorship $500.00 / $50.00 VIP ticket / $25 Gen Admission No need to worry about registering for Alumni Association events.
