Morehouse Alumni: What’s next?

Homecoming was once again a time to remember. From the parade, to the brunch, to the various parties and events, right up to the closing worship service, you were there to help current Morehouse students see that the love for (and support of) the school lasts long after graduation. Thank you for that.
Now, we must continue with the work that is set before us. There are young men who need mentoring, scholarships that require funding, and projects that need your expertise and dedication to complete. We look forward to sharing that information with you and having you represent the alumni as a formidable voice in decisions affecting the College.
There are three great ways you can help the Alumni Association to help the College.
  1. Become a mentor. The mentoring program has launched it’s second cycle. Twenty-five youth and 17 mentors are participating in the Passport to Manhood curriculum.  More mentors are needed so that we can have a one-to-one match. Mentoring Meetings are on Thursdays from 5 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the John Harland Boys and Girls Club. Call 404.215.2657 for more details.
  2. Pay your dues to join the Alumni Association. There are several ways that you can become a member. Click here for details.
  3. Donate to the 300 Scholarship Fund. You may have been in these students’ shoes once. Help them graduate, too.

And you can do this all through our newly redesigned website.
