U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh C. Johnson ’79 to Deliver 2014 Morehouse Commencement Address

Morehouse College is proud to announce that Jeh C. Johnson ’79, the 4th U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, will deliver the commencement address during the 130th Commencement on Sunday, May 18. Commencement begins at 8 a.m. on Century Campus. Johnson will join other members of the class of 1979—including President John Silvanus Wilson Jr.—in celebrating their 35th reunion.

Jonathan L. Walton ’96 to Give Baccalaureate Sermon

On Saturday, May 17, Jonathan L. Walton ’96, will deliver the Baccalaureate sermon in the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel. Walton is the Pusey Minister of The Memorial Church at Harvard University. He also is the Plummer Professor of Christian Morals and a professor of religion and society at Harvard. The Baccalaureate service begins at 3 p.m.
